HONG Asian Noodle Bar

Everyone was very wonderful! The atmosphere and music were very nice. I liked all the food it just lacked flavor (not in a bad way) There was some but it was very subtle minus the cucumber salad with its nice spicy kick. I've tried a bunch of different noodle bars/ authentic Asian cuisine restaurants so for us the flavor was just not there compared to others. This doesn't mean the food is not good just not what we were expecting.

I have been wanting to go for a while and they are usually packed so I can't get in, but when I did I was thoroughly impressed! The place is very small on the inside, similar to an old fashioned diner or authentic Asian restaurant which is small, a hand full of tables and a counter to eat at, but they can cram a bunch in there comfortably. I didn't understand what some of the dishes were on the menu but our server was very helpful and explained everything for us so we knew we would be satisfied with our order. They had Boba Tea so I definitely got myself one with Lychee, and we went with Dumplings for our Appetizer; which were the best Dumplings I've ever had in my life! I absolutely love trying new foods and ethnic dishes, and when they put that bowl in front of me I realized I had never had true authentic Ramen before. Everything that I took out of that massive bowl and out in my mouth was incredible! It was piping hot for about 20 minutes, and we stayed for about 2.5 hours eating and talking, and I was so impressed my food stayed warm for about 2 hours of it. Overall if you can get in, I highly recommend Hong, it's definitely the best Noodle bar in the Dover area, and I can't wait to go again!

I don't normally write reviews but I enjoy reviewing Asian restaurants. Food is not really authentic, very Americanized but it is still quality asian-american food. It was delicious but some food did taste very bland. The environment seemed tense. Our waitress seems stressed out and younger girl at the counter doesn't communicate well with staff and that shows, I've heard this from a friend who got takeout as well. A lot of confusion for her. Restaurant was packed full at night and I felt bad for the staff, they looked like they had a lot on their plate, no pun intended! This is my second time coming here and it was different the first time, staff was a lot more charismatic this time last year but it seems there have been a lot of changes since then and staff changes. I would recommend this place for take out food but dining in is a bit much. All food is worth trying but pricey! Good allergy option I hope can move to a bigger space some day.

Went here because I wanted to celebrate finals being done, and safe to say it was absolutely worth it. The food was excellent, prepared so quickly, the price beats other ramen places in the area, and the waitress was very nice. The dining area was small, but I thought it just made it cozy and full. Will be back (especially because they gave us gift cards!??)
